Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 4 - Franklin

The Franklin Lockup (bottom left) was built in 1889 as a holding cell for short term use. Many of the buildings have information plaques outside describing their history which in most cases dates to the early 1900s when the town was booming. I was surprised that Franklin had two large banks at that time.
